WILDWOOD CREST — Run the Crest wrapped up its weekend Saturday with his half marathon Saturday morning.

Centennial Park played host to the racing as well as activities for families and competitors. There were vendors, food trucks, live music and family-friendly activities.

Matt Farrell, of Union Beach, finished first overall in the half marathon. Local runner Dana Glodek was the top female finisher.

Saturday also featured a 10-kilometer race. A 5K was held Friday. Results will be posted at jldevents.com .

The event supported Amanda's Wish Foundation in honor of Amanda Holland, a local preschool teacher who died in 2023. The foundation supports local events, youth programs and scholarships, keeping Holland's spirit alive through community involvement and donations.
