BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested Saturday in connection with a homicide that left one woman dead, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
On Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a traffic accident in the 2100 block of 8th Avenue E.
At the scene, police said they found a woman, later identified as 44-year-old Thania Fuenmayor, lying outside her SUV with what appeared to be extensive stab wounds.
Officers and EMS attempted to perform emergency first aid, but Fuenmayor was pronounced dead at the scene.
BPD detectives and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit launched an investigation, during which they recovered multiple items, including a knife.
During the investigation, detectives identified Francisco Ramos-Moradel, 69, as a suspect. Detectives said Ramos-Mor
