Sylvan Park transformed into a Bavarian wonderland with traditional foods and games as the Redlands Oktoberfest kicked off Saturday, Oct. 4, for its two-day run.
Now in its 14th year, the Oktoberfest sponsored by the Redlands Optimist Club is a family-friendly event with entertainment for all ages, including live music, games such as Hammerschlagen, a nail-driving game, bounce houses, face painting and hands-on crafts.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 at Sylvan Park, 601 N. University St.
