The Las Vegas Raiders look to be without one of their top offensive players against the Indianapolis Colts.
Tight end Brock Bowers is trending towards not playing Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.
Head coach Pete Carroll expressed confidence in Bowers’ ability to play through the injury, but it doesn’t appear to be the case.
“We figure he’s playing. We think he’s playing,” Carroll said of Bowers on Friday. “But we wanted to make sure and rest him throughout. We have to list him as questionable, but he’s planning on playing.”
The 22-year-old has 19 receptions for 225 yards this season through four games. Last season, Bowers had 112 receptions for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns.
