CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Hundreds of cyclists from across the United States took part in the Tour de Cape on Saturday.

The riders gathered in downtown Cape and rode along 15, 22, 30 and 60-mile routes through Cape Girardeau County.

Molly Kuetteo took park in the event, “My favorite is biking the 30 miles and then at the end of the race, eating the post-race cheeseburgers. They got the grill going. Everyone is having a good time out afterward.”

Proceeds for the event go to the Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship.

The non-profit is dedicated to offering therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with disabilities.
