FORT WORTH, Texas — A 15-year-old boy was killed and another person critically injured Friday afternoon following a stabbing in Fort Worth, police said.
According to a news release from Fort Worth PD, officers were dispatched about 3:44 p.m. to the 2700 block of East Rosedale Street in response to a reported stabbing. When they arrived, police said everyone involved had already left the scene.
Investigators later located one of the people involved, a juvenile who told officers they cut others in self-defense during a physical fight, police said.
Police said they learned one of the victims, a 15-year-old boy identified as Jacob De La Rosa, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Their current conditi
