MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Milwaukee Brewers used a six-run first inning to knock off NL Central division foe Chicago Cubs 9-3 in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

After Cubs first baseman Michael Busch homered on just two pitches off starter Freddy Peralta, Milwaukee would score an avalanche of runs off Cubs starter Matthew Boyd.

It started with a double by second baseman Brice Turang to drive in Jackson Chourio, then William Contreras drove in Turang with an RBI double and Milwaukee continued to do what it does best which is drive runners in with runners in scoring position. Milwaukee ranked ninth in all of baseball during the regular season with a .279 average with runners on.
