CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Detroit Lions elevated some pure size from the practice squad ahead of their Week 5 tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals.
They elevated offensive lineman Devin Cochran and cornerback Tre Flowers. Cochran is a 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive tackle. Flowers is a towering 6-foot-3, 203-pound presence at cornerback.
Cochran has been with the team’s practice squad for nearly a month now. This marks the first time the Lions have elevated the massive offensive tackle. He spent the first three years of his career, including all of the most recent training camp and preseason, with the Bengals. He played in nine games, starting once in Cincinnati last season for the lone regular-season action of his career.
