WASHINGTON, D.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — Charlotte FC faced D.C. United at Audi Field Stadium Saturday afternoon, and both teams saw their fair share of cards.

The team meets D.C., currently ranked last in the Eastern Conference, for the second time this season. In July, Pep Biel's back-to-back goals led Charlotte to a shutout victory.

Charlotte is looking to bounce back after a devastating 4-1 loss against Montreal last week.

D.C. received two red cards early in the match, knocking out two players. Luis Barraza was shown a red card for denying Charlotte a goal-scoring opportunity before Aaron Herrera was shown a card of his own after a scruffle between him and Wilfried Zaha.
