The Dallas Cowboys placed safety Malik Hooker on injured reserve Saturday with a toe injury.

The Cowboys (1-2-1) also signed safety Alijah Clark to the active roster prior to Sunday’s game against the host New York Jets (0-4), while wide receivers Jalen Brooks and Jalen Cropper were elevated from the practice squad.

Hooker sustained the injury in the second quarter of Sunday night’s game against the visiting Green Bay Packers.

He has 20 tackles in four games (all starts) this season.

Hooker, 29, has totaled 381 tackles, 14 interceptions and four fumble recoveries in 104 career games (80 starts) with the Indianapolis Colts and Cowboys. He was selected by the Colts with the 15th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.
