The Monmouth and Delaware State offenses were periodically unstoppable at Kessler Stadium in West Long Branch, New Jersey, on Oct. 4.

The host Hawks , however, moved the football more consistently late and prevailed 49-38 over Delaware State in a nonconference football game.

Milford High grad Marquis Gillis rushed for 132 yards on 15 carries with a TD for the Hornets, who had 397 total yards.
