ATHENS, Ga. — During Alan Cutler's radio show Friday on ESPN Sports Radio 1300 AM/92.5 FM , he reported Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops approached athletics director Mitch Barnhart after last season's loss to Tennessee . Cutler stated that during this meeting, Stoops said he would negotiate his buyout and vacate the UK job.

After Saturday's 35-14 loss at Georgia , Stoops powerfully refuted the claim.
