ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Saturday was a day to put kids front and center as business professionals. The Hope in the Desert Episcopal Church held the St. Francis Day Festival and Children's Entrepreneur Market.

The pop-up market was run entirely by kids, something they were all too excited about. "We made all of our products by ourselves. So, on Christmas a year ago, I got a kit full of polymer clay, which I used to make all the earrings I have. And then lip balms, we bought all the ingredients off of Amazon," said Zena Barboza, who owns a business with their sibling, Rafi.

The event ran from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and also had local food trucks, pet adoptions, and more. The church hosts the event every year to coincide with the Balloon Fiesta.
