PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A US district judge is expected to rule Saturday in Oregon’s case against President Donald Trump, the first lawsuit in a high-stakes fight over who controls the state’s National Guard.
Proceedings in the case began Friday morning. Trump-appointed Judge Karin Immergut, who has served as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon since 2019, said she expected to make a ruling late Friday following hours of arguments.
But the ruling didn't come Friday. It is expected to be released on Saturday.
