TUCSON, AZ — About 20 yards from the goal line, Oklahoma State cornerback LaDainian Fields briefly raised his hand in celebration.
But he quickly put it back down and finished off his interception return touchdown.
Maybe Fields realized with his team trailing by more than four touchdowns at the time, such celebratory gestures weren’t necessary. Or maybe he knew, the way things had gone for OSU on Saturday, that he might be flagged for a premature celebration that would wipe out his first career TD.
