As many as 188 health conditions could potentially affect your ability to legally drive. Both physical and mental health conditions are covered in guidance from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), which they will need to be made aware of.
Failing to do this could result in a significant fine, particularly if a medical condition lasts for a period of time. This is especially the case if a doctor has already told you to stop driving for three months or more, or if the medical condition affects your ability to drive safely while lasting for three months or more.
