SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) - A young child found a human skull on a greenway in Springfield, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reports that the young boy found the skull at the edge of Sulphur Fork Creek on the Springfield Greenway just before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The skull was reportedly near the Sulphur Creek Memorial Boulevard bridge.

This is the same area where a decomposing human leg was found on July 4. A preliminary DNA match for the leg was made to Joseph Frank Benton Senior by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s CODIS Unit, SBN said.
