Ross-Simmons, who was later seen with crutches, had two catches on six targets for 58 yards before exiting the game.

Brown had no other update on the severity of the injury or how long Ross-Simmons would be sidelined.
Syracuse’s next game is Oct. 18 when it hosts Pittsburgh.
Ross-Simmons entered Saturday’s game as Syracuse’s leader in receiving touchdowns with five. He made an appearance on ESPN’s “You Got Mossed” segment and has two multi-touchdown games on the season.
