SALT LAKE CITY — Picture this: It’s family movie night and you’re a kid. Who picked the movie?

Odds are, it was your parents who ultimately decided what everyone was going to watch, regardless of the input they got from any family members. It’s also quite likely that the decision was heavily influenced by the rating given to the movie by the Motion Picture Association.
