BATON ROUGE - The Perkins Rowe Arts Festival returned to the area celebrating with art, music, paint demos and more.

The all-day event encouraged shopping with dozens of vendors showing off crafts, jewelry and canvases.

Organizers say the event helps people get to know the wonderful artists in their own hometown.
