GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Lake Michigan Credit Union says they are experiencing a temporary outage that is preventing customers from utilizing their bank accounts.

In a social media post, the credit union announced that the outage is affecting LMCU's website, online banking, ATMs and mobile app.

Multiple posters on Reddit noted that they were having issues transferring money through mobile apps like Venmo that are linked to LMCU accounts.

"Rest assured, your funds are safe and secure. Access to your money via debit, credit, and non-LMCU ATMs are not being impacted, though LMCU ATM functionality is temporarily affected," LMCU stated.
