TAYLEE Short is on a mission to help others see they are more than just a label.

The 25-year-old from Cessnock was recently crowned Ms Ultimate of Australia 2025 and is utilising her platform to inspire young parents to achieve their dreams.

Taylee was 18 when she fell pregnant, 19 when she had her son and 21 years old when she completed her HSC.

"I was a young parent and now I'm working for the company that supported me to do my HSC," she said.

Ms Short, who is studying social work at the University of Newcastle, is passionate about challenging the stigmas and stereotypes surrounding young parents.

"My platform is called Beyond the Label. I want young parents to be able to celebrate their achievements, proving that they're more than just a young mum or dad," she said.
