Abby Rascher knocked in a second half goal to help give sixth-seeded Clifton a 1-0 victory over 11-seeded Passaic in the first round of the Passaic County Tournament in Clifton.

Gianna Colon added two saves in the net for Clifton (3-5).

After a scoreless first half, Rascher knocked in her first goal of the season in the second half to put Clifton ahead.

Clifton snapped its three-game losing streak and will face third-seeded Wayne Hills in the quarterfinal round.

Passaic falls to 4-4-1.
