TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —

Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban returned to Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium for a special honor ahead of his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, marking a significant day for fans who have followed his career.

Saban is a seven-time national championship coach who finished his coaching career after the 2023 season. During his 28 seasons of coaching, Saban had a 297-71-1 record, going 206-29 during his time at Alabama. Saban coached 52 first-round picks, with 47 from Alabama. Fans say Coach Saban's latest accomplishment is very well-deserved.

"He deserves it more than just about anybody, I mean, he's the best to ever do it," said James Harris, an Alabama fan.
