TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Miami Hurricanes got ahead early, and Florida State found itself in too big a hole to climb out of as three Seminole turnovers doomed the home team 28-22 at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday.

FSU (3-2, 0-2 ACC) moved the ball well on its opening drive, but would stall at the UM (5-0, 1-0 ACC) five settling for a field goal and an early 3-0 lead.

The ‘Canes responded immediately with a touchdown as Carson Beck would find CJ Daniels from four yards out and a 7-3 advantage.

Tommy Castellanos would throw an interception on fourth and long during the ensuing Seminole drive, his first of two on the day. Miami would capitalize immediately as Beck found Malachi Toney for a 44 yard strike and a 14-3 lead.
