HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - A man is dead and another man is injured after a shooting in Henrico on Saturday evening.

Henrico Police said they received a call for a shooting on Fairfield Avenue at the Mallard Green Apartments.

At the scene, officers found a man with gunshot wounds, who later died at the scene.

Henrico Police also said another man with a gunshot wound took himself to Richmond Community Hospital with serious injuries. The man was later transferred to VCU Medical Center for additional care.

Officers said a building and two cars had damage from the gunfire.
