Two touchdown were all Cave Spring needed to beat Blacksburg 15-12 on Friday night, avenging last year's loss and earning a River Ridge District victory at Bogle Stadium in Roanoke.

Madden Babich scored the first touchdown from 1 yard out for the Knights (2-4), while Cam Wilson tallied the second on a 7-yard rush. Jaden Hollins ran in a two-point conversion as well.

Luke Mann collected 156 yards on 25 carries for the Bruins (2-4), while Jacob Henricks thew a touchdown pass to Mack Strahm. Ethan Lowdermilk kicked two field goals.

Cave Spring hosts Salem (1-5) next week. Blacksburg has lost four straight, the last three by one possession, and will host Hidden Valley (0-5).
