Denver Broncos place another tight end on injured reserve

Ahead of their Week 5 road game against the Philadelphia Eagles , the Denver Broncos have placed another tight end on short-term injured reserve. Lucas Krull will miss at least the next four games after suffering a broken bone in his foot.

The tight end position continues to be a problematic one for the Broncos. Nate Adkins, who has returned to the lineup, was banged up to start the season. Evan Engram has also been forced to miss a game.

Without Krull, the Broncos will have Engram, Adkins and Adam Trautman in Week 5 against the Eagles. To take Krull's spot on the 53-man roster, the Broncos elevated linebacker Garrett Wallow from the practice squad. Wallow has already been called up for three games t
