CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) -- Eastern Illinois football picked up a second straight win to stay unbeaten (2-0) in OVC-Big South play with a 31-7 home win over Tennessee State, improving to 3-2 overall on the season.

Conner Wolf got the start at QB, completing 13-of-20 passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

EIU ran for a team total of 171 rushing yards, led by Charles Kellom with 69 yards on the ground. Backup QB Cole LaCrue ran in two short touchdowns on eight carries.

Eastern's defense forced three turnovers, including two forced fumbles and one interception.

The Panthers will be back at home next week for homecoming, taking on Gardner-Webb at O'Brien Field on October 11. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
