The king of the 205-pound division has reclaimed his throne.

Alex Pereira is once again light heavyweight champion after defeating Magomed Ankalaev in the main event of UFC 320 on Saturday, taking down the incumbent via TKO at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“Poatan” first won the title in 2023 with a KO victory against Jiri Prochazka and made three successful title defences before losing the belt to Ankalaev at UFC 313 in March.

Now, his new reign atop the division begins as he improved to 10-2-0 in the UFC while avoiding back-to-back losses for the first time as a pro.
