One of Derby's most iconic pubs has leveraged its position as a community hub for good, raising thousands of pounds to help fund a seeing dog for those who need it most. The team at the Brunswick Inn in Railway Terrace has long been an advocate and supporter of local charities around Derby, but the most recent venture could be the most impactful yet.

Boozer boss Alan Pickersgill, who took over the corner pub more than a decade ago , decided to raise funds for local charity, Seeing Dogs Alliance, back in 2023 after noticing his pub had become popular among the blind community. To coincide with the pub's annual beer festival, which is also taking place this week until October 4, the pub's brewing arm, The Brunswick Brewing Company Ltd, launched a new beer.
