CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M football team picked up their third win Saturday night after taking down Sul Ross State on homecoming, 56-7.
The Buffs scored all 56 points in the first three quarters before the Lobos were able to put up their first points.
WTAMU quarterback, RJ Martinez threw for four touchdowns while also picking up a rushing touchdown. He threw for 332 yards and had 23 rushing yards in the win.
The other three rushing touchdowns were scored by Jamaal Joseph, Jayden Hibbler, and Gene Sledge.
Trevin Edwards was responsible for two of the passing touchdown receptions, while Drew Zamar and Zach Phipps each had one of their own.
As a team, the Buffs put up 612 total yards, had 32 first downs, and had no turnovers. The defense had three sacks and six TFL.
