ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The UAlbany football team faced a prime opportunity to turn its season around in Week 6. Back at home, playing a rival and with a bye next week, the Great Danes had a chance to seize some serious momentum going into a much-needed break.

Paired with Stony Brook, UAlbany played a tightly-contested first half, going to the locker room trailing just 10-6. But the Great Danes came unraveled over the final 30 minutes of action, and were outscored 37-6. The Seawolves went on to win, 47-12, retaining the Golden Apple Trophy.
