VALENCIA – A man collapsed and died Saturday near the entrance of Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia.

The death was reported about 5:45 p.m. Saturday at the park at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, according to Lt. Brendan Kinsella of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.

Paramedics arrived at 6 p.m., Kinsella said. Life-saving measures were not successful, and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His cause of death is unknown. His identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
