If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be inside Squid Game - minus the dying - a new immersive experience finally brings that to life. And no, I’m not talking about the Netflix reality spin-off - that’s mostly just drama.

At ImmerseLDN, located at ExCeL Waterfront, Squid Game: The Experience invites up to 48 players to take on five challenges in a fully recreated world. The sets and atmosphere are so close to the show, you’ll forget you’re in the Docklands.

As you step in, you are faced with the Front Man’s black mask and eerie music. You check in with your group and pay for the cloakroom, which I honestly found expensive at £2 per coat and £5 per bag.

Then, linger in a Korean-inspired café and gift shop until your group is called. The café’s cute, but be warned: it’s pricey.
