The National Weather Service released a freeze warning at 1:34 a.m. on Sunday valid for Monday between midnight and 10 a.m. for Grande Ronde Valley.
The weather service adds, “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees expected.”
“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” adds the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
