Ohio property tax debate pits homeowner relief against school funding

COLUMBUS, Ohio --Rep. Gary Click leaned into his microphone and said he worried about Ohio families sitting at kitchen tables, struggling to pay property taxes.

“I also care about those moms and dads, those students, who at home also suffer a budget shortfall that was unintended, unplanned for, unexpected,” the Sandusky County Republican said. “Their budgets got messed up.”
