Mayurbhanj: Four members of a family were injured on Sunday after a massive explosion blew away the asbestos roof and walls of an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit in Bachhuripada village under Baisinga police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to sources, the incident took place at around 11 am while fireworks and explosives were being illegally prepared inside the house. The firecrackers continued to burst till police and Fire Service personnel arrived at the spot. ADVERTISEMENT
