Robbie Williams has been forced to cancel his final tour gig in Istanbul over terror fears. The organising company said potential security risks and public backlash were the reason behind the show's cancellation, Turkiye Today reports.

Breaking the news to fans on Instagram, Robbie said: "I'm extremely sorry that I will not be able to perform in Istanbul next week." The Angels singer's security could be threatened due to his support for Israel, it has been reported.

Robbie is married to Turkish-born Ayda, who has a Jewish mother, Robbie has previously faced criticism for performing in Israel. Robbie said previously: "City authorities have cancelled the show, in the interests of public safety.
