It’s not the first time this season there haven’t been any changes at the top of the WPIAL and City League rankings.

Even a loss by Westinghouse to Karns City wasn’t enough to knock the Bulldogs from the top of the City League, no matter how many Gremlins did them in.

Yet there were changes.

For the first time in a long time, Thomas Jefferson is not ranked in the top five. The Jaguars, who dropped a game at Avonworth earlier this season, blew a halftime lead in a loss to Trinity on Friday night and fell out of the top five in Class 4A.

With the win, the Hillers, who have played one of the tougher schedules in the classification, took over at No. 5 in Class 4A.
