BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3.5 earthquake rattled the Big Bear area early Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck about four miles north of Big Bear City around 3:40 a.m., USGS said.

It was the third small earthquake in the area in a span of a few hours. They were all centered within five miles of each other.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage.
