New Delhi: India added two more medals to their tally at the World Para Athletics Championships 2025 on the final day of the competition on Sunday as Simran Sharma and Sandeep won bronze medals in their respective categories. Simran won bronze medal in the women’s 200m T12 event to bag her second medal in the tournament, while Sandeep produced a brilliant performance to clinch bronze in the men’s 200m T44 event.

Sandeep produced his personal best of 23.60 seconds in the final to finish on the podium. The Indian para sprinter was also helped by a stroke of luck in the final race. Sandeep was trailing in the fourth position for the majority of the race and appeared set to finish outside the top three medal positions.
