CHRIS JONES has revealed his pain after rushing back from his aunt's funeral to face the Baltimore Ravens.

The Kansas City Chiefs star was expected to miss the NFL game due to his aunt Angela's death.

Jones , 31, discovered that she had sadly passed away from a heart attack after the victory over the New York Giants .

She had been watching the game when the tragedy struck.

The defensive tackle attended her funeral in Houston, Mississippi just hours before the Chiefs' clash with the Ravens.

Jones made it back to Arrowhead Stadium in time for the game and contributed to the team's second win of the season.

He has revealed the pain that he felt when he found out about her death.

He said: "She was actually watching my game when she passed away.
