2DOVER, DE – A 37-year-old Georgia woman is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly firing a handgun during an argument in a Dover parking lot Thursday morning, police said.

According to the Dover Police Department , the incident began around 11:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Bay Road , where officers responded to reports of shots fired. Investigators determined that Latasha Bryant became involved in a dispute over property with several individuals before drawing a firearm and firing at them. No one was injured, and Bryant fled the scene in a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer .

Police quickly issued a regional alert, and by 4:45 p.m. , Virginia State Police located and stopped the vehicle on Interstate 95 near Richmond , taking Bryant into custody without incident.
