World No. 1 T20I batter Abhishek Sharma opened the innings with his Punjab teammate Prabhsimran Singh for India A in the ongoing third unofficial ODI against Australia A at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. But in the series decider, where Team India is chasing a 317-run target, Abhishek could only manage to score 22 runs from 25 balls. During his stay at the crease, the left-handed batter from Amritsar hammered two fours and added 83 runs for the first wicket with Prabh in 11.2 overs.
He was sent back to the pavilion by Todd Murphy, who has also played Test cricket for the Australian team.
Abhishek was caught by Tanveer Sangha on the second ball of the 12th over.
