Captain Harmanpreet Kaur walked out to bat at No. 4 for India on Sunday, October 5, in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 match against Pakistan at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and scored 19 runs from 34 balls. She hammered two fours and added 39 runs for the third wicket with Harleen Deol, who made 46 runs.

During her stay at the crease, she gave an uber-cool reaction when Pakistani spinner Nashra Sandhu gave her a death stare.

The incident took place after the last ball of the 22nd over bowled by Sandhu. Harmanpreet was batting on 16 runs from 21 balls at that time. She attempted to push the ball down to the ground, but Sandhu stopped it, and then she tried to scare Harman by giving her a death stare.
