An investigation is underway in Miami after a dog attack turned deadly Saturday night, police said.

According to Miami Police, officers arrived in the area of Northwest Eighth Avenue and 67th Street after receiving reports of a man who was attacked by dogs.

Once at the scene, officers found the man, who was pronounced dead.

His identity was not released, but Miami Police said the man appeared to be around 30-40 years old.

It's unclear if the dogs involved in the attack were found.

The investigation remains active.
