Evan Maillet made 26 saves and the Sarnia Sting scored three second-period goals Saturday in a 4-2 comeback win over the Flint Firebirds.

Brenner Lammens, the No. 4 pick in this year’s OHL draft, put the Sting ahead for good with his first career goal.

Easton Walos and Matthew Manza also scored in the second period before 2,484 fans at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Mich.

Jordan Bax added an empty-netter in the Sting’s third win in four games.

The Sting (3-3-0-0) are .500 for the second time this season after bouncing back from Friday’s 4-3 loss to the Niagara IceDogs at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

On Saturday, the Firebirds led 1-0 after the first period on Urban Podrekar’s goal.
