ALBANY, N.Y. — Governor Kathy Hochul announced that she will be extending an executive order on COVID-19 vaccine access.

In a statement released by the Governor's office on Sunday, the governor announced the extension of Executive Order 52, which allows pharmacists to continue administering COVID-19 vaccines. The extension will remain in place for the next 30 days.

The Governor's Office added in their statement that Hochul will be working with the State Legislature to find a long-term solution to "ensure permanent and continuing access to vaccines."
