PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Portland's Foster-Powell neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.
Just after 5:30 a.m., officers responded to the 5800 block of Southeast Foster Road on numerous reports of shots fired.
Arriving in the area, officials said they found a man seriously injured.
Police said he was taken to a hospital by ambulance and his current condition is unknown at this time.
Any possible suspect or suspects had left the scene and no arrests were made, officials said.
During the on-scene investigation, Southeast Foster Road was closed both directions between 56th and 59th Avenues.
